The Venturesome card game is a strategic adventure card game where players lead daring expeditions in search of ancient treasures. Along the way, they must recruit skilled adventurers, avoid dangerous threats, and outmaneuver rival explorers who are eager to claim the same artifacts.

The Venturesome card game supports 2 to 5 players ages 10 and up, with play sessions lasting about 30 minutes, making it ideal for quick yet strategic gaming experiences.
Assemble Your Expedition
At the beginning of the game, each player receives six character cards representing members of their expedition. Each adventurer has a unique ability that can influence the game in different ways.
Some characters allow players to exchange cards with opponents, while others can return cards to a player’s hand or intimidate rival adventurers. Choosing when and how to use these abilities becomes an important part of your strategy.
Grow Your Team of Explorers
During each turn, players place one character card from their hand onto the table and resolve its effect. With every turn, your expedition grows stronger as more members join your team.
However, each character in your expedition must be unique. Once you reach a point where you cannot play another different character, your participation in the round ends.
When this happens, you must resolve one of the threat cards currently available in the game.
Face the Dangers of the Expedition
Threat cards represent the dangers that adventurers face during their journey. These threats may disrupt your expedition, alter the value of your collected cards, or interfere with the artifacts you have secured.
After resolving the threat, the characters you successfully played are placed in your personal treasure pile, which will score victory points at the end of the game.
Score Points Across Three Rounds
The Venturesome card game is played over three rounds. Throughout the game, players accumulate expedition members and artifacts that provide victory points.
Because the order in which players end their turns and resolve threats can vary, predicting the outcome of each round can be difficult. Strategic timing becomes essential to maximize points while minimizing the risks imposed by threats.
