Description

The Tinco card game is a fast, energetic card game where players compete in a kung-fu themed challenge to prove their mastery. In this lively test set by Master Pun Chen Lo, apprentices must demonstrate their skills by quickly assembling the right combinations of cards while reacting faster than their rivals.

Designed by Gustavo Barreto and Alessandro de Oliveira and illustrated by Casa Locomotiva, this dynamic game offers exciting gameplay that rewards quick thinking, observation, and rapid decision-making.

The Tinco card game supports 3 to 6 players ages 10 and up, with game sessions lasting about 20 minutes, making it a perfect choice for groups, parties, and family game nights.

Train in the Animal Forms

In this kung-fu inspired challenge, players face the legendary animal forms taught by Master Pun Chen Lo. These forms include the mantis, dragon, crane, tiger, snake, eagle, and monkey.

To prove their mastery, players must collect sets of five matching cards that share either the same animal shape or the same color. Successfully assembling such a set is called a Tinco.

Once a player achieves a Tinco, they must act quickly to claim a fragment of the Medallion of Concord placed at the center of the table.

Simultaneous Gameplay

One of the most exciting elements of the Tinco card game is that there are no turns. All players trade cards at the same time, offering cards to opponents without revealing their faces.

Players only indicate how many cards they are offering, creating constant negotiation and fast exchanges. This simultaneous gameplay creates a lively atmosphere where speed and attention are essential.

When a player completes a Tinco, they rush to grab a medallion fragment. Other players must react quickly to claim the remaining fragments if they want to avoid falling behind.

Beware the Card of Discord

Hidden within the deck is the Xi card, representing Discord. This card is highly undesirable because it carries negative points.

Players will often try to pass this card to opponents during exchanges, creating moments of surprise and laughter as everyone attempts to avoid ending up with it.

Climb the Tower of Harmony

Each fragment of the Medallion of Concord helps players advance on the Tower of Harmony. After several rounds, the player who reaches the highest position on the tower wins the game.

Because medallion fragments are limited each round, quick reactions and clever trading become key strategies.

Two Game Modes for Different Groups

The Tinco card game includes two different game modes:

  • Xing mode, where players form sets based on animal shapes

  • Hong mode, where sets are based on colors

These options allow the difficulty to be adjusted depending on the group. The shape-matching mode is generally easier, while the color-matching mode adds an extra level of challenge.

A Fast and Social Party Game

With its simultaneous gameplay, fast exchanges, and energetic atmosphere, the Tinco card game is perfect for players who enjoy quick and interactive experiences.

Its compact format also makes it easy to bring anywhere, whether for family gatherings, travel, or casual gaming sessions.

Show your speed, avoid discord, and prove your mastery in the Tinco card game, available at 3Kitties, where fun never ages.
